TBS Israel Committee and the Santa Fe Council on International Relations present:
Book Talk with Ambassador Martin Indyk
Martin Indyk, who served twice as U.S. ambassador to Israel as well as assistant secretary of state for
Near East Affairs, and special envoy for the
Israeli-Palestinian negotiations in 2013-14, will be our guest on Thursday, March 10 at a program
co-sponsored by the Santa Fe Council on International Affairs and
Temple Beth Shalom.
The program, which begins at 6:00 PM, will be at the St. Francis Auditorium,
107 West Palace Avenue.
Ambassador Indyk, a distinguished fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, is the author of the recent bestseller, “Master of the Game: Henry Kissinger and the Art of Middle East Diplomacy.” In the book, Indyk draws upon recently declassified records, extensive interviews with Kissinger and other key players, giving audiences a sense of what it was like from the inside shuttling with Kissinger among Arab capitals and Israel.
Our conversation will also address the current state of negotiations and the impact of the Abraham Accords on the region. Following the program, Ambassador Indyk will be inscribing “Master of the Game”, which will be available for purchase at the event.
Special thanks to Temple Beth Shalom, David & Patricia Shulman and the
Santa Fe Council on International Relations for their support of this program.
